DESCRIPTION:

Cabot Unsalted Butter, Grade B (unsalted), conforms to the definition and standards of identity for butter under Federal Food and Drug Regulations CFR-7, 58.2621 and its amendments.

This butter is made from whey cream and may possess flavor notes of coarse/acid with the typical butter flavor.

COLOR:

A medium to dark yellow

CHEMICAL:

  • Butterfat: < 80%
  • Salt: 1.5% ± 0.2%

MICROBIOLOGICAL:

  • 1. Coliforms – not to exceed 10 per gram
  • 2. Yeast/Mold – < 100 per gram

PACKAGING:

Packaging will be done in clean food grade butter paper/wrapper.

SHIPPING AND STORAGE:

Product will be stored and shipped at 40°F. The maximum shipping and storage temperatures shall not exceed 45°F.
